About Us

Mission

To reach young people internationally with the gospel of Jesus Christ, utilizing music, preaching, festival and concert formats and any other technology that is deemed effective to further God’s Kingdom.

Vision

  • We are convinced that the festival format is attractive to young people and provides a unique setting to use music and teaching to reach them with the Gospel.

    •
      • Utilizing Contemporary Christian music festivals in the USA to assist in the staging of evangelistic festivals in foreign countries

        •
          • To work closely with child-sponsorship ministries and to challenge festival attendees to become a child sponsor.

            •
              • To partner with existing missions to establish churches, clinics, schools and higher education. (Ex. School and University in Ghana, W. Africa)

                •
                  • To encourage and visit missionaries and child-sponsorship programs to keep our vision and outreach both relevant and visionary.

                    •
                      • To stand beside local churches in reaching people for Christ and expand the Kingdom of God locally and internationally.

Why?

  • Christ has commissioned his disciples to go into all the nations and proclaim His salvation

    •
      • God sent His Son (the Way, The Truth and the Life) because of His love for mankind

        •
          • As God’s people we are to love humanity and reach them with the Gospel. Our calling is to especially reach young people with the Gospel

            •
              • Music is a universal language that speaks to young people in a language they understand. Christ-centered music coupled with the Word of God is a powerful tool in proclaiming the Gospel.

Core values

  • Our calling is from God and commissioned by the Holy Spirit

    •
      • It was in 1971 that Pastor Harry L. Thomas, Jr. received a literal vision from the Lord in which he saw thousands of young people being reached with Christian music. Through radio shows and ultimately the Creation Festivals that vision has been realized with hundreds of thousands coming to Christ. That visio has proven to be global as well as nationally. CAI seeks to continue and further that vision.

        •
          • By God’s grace CAI’s calling will span the generations.

            •
              • We have seen since the early beginnings in 1972 that youth at that time are now parents and grandparents and bringing their children and youth under the sound of the gospel through our festivals and outreaches.

                •
                  • Ps. 71:18 "And even when {I am} old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Thy strength to {this} generation, Thy power to all who are to come."

                    •
                      • CAI will always seek to honor God’s Word as we pursue Biblical excellence and integrity in all levels of ministry. The Word of God (The Bible) is honored and proclaimed at the outreaches of CAI. (I Cor. 1:21). God’s Word is inspired, infallible, inerrant and all-powerful.

                          • We believe that when a person commits their life to Christ, they truly “come alive.” Previous to that decision they are dead in their sin, but God by his grace sent Christ to bear our sins and by trust in Him we can be born-again to new life. (Ephesians 2: 1-8)

                              • CAI is here to serve the entire Body of Christ regardless of denominational or theological differences.

                                •
                                  • To accomplish the mission of the church we need to fulfill the prayer of Christ for us to be “one” in Him. We join with all those who declare Jesus Is Lord and we embrace them as brothers and sisters in Christ.

                                    •
                                      • The primary goal of CAI is the evangelization of the world. In some of our international work we do humanitarian work as well (medical, construction, counsel, etc.) but all is done with the goal of converting people (especially children and youth) to Christ and His Kingdom.

                                        •
                                          • CAI is called to embrace and love other cultures that differ in religion or culture. For the sake of love and friendship we can go into a culture that does not embrace Christianity and develop friendship using music and dialogue as a bridge to understanding. Even where we cannot proselytize we believe that Christ has set the example to love all mankind. (Ex. the historic Friendship Fest in Morocco – 2005 and 2006)

                                            •
                                              • Financial funding for CAI comes through various fund-raising events and appeals. Through the donations of people who see the importance of our vision we can expand in outreaches. Funds received are to be properly stewarded as a sacred trust from God through his People. Every supporter has a part in every soul coming to salvation through Christ.

                                                •
                                                  • The cause of Christ is best served through the church (The Body of Christ). As a parachurch organization, CAI works alongside local churches to assist in our joint purpose to evangelize the world for Christ.

                                                      • Our motivation is Christ alone to be glorified. Only that which is done for Christ will endure and be fruitful. We are accountable to God to carry out this sacred trust.
